Caley is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and composer who is active in the Twin Cities music scene. He has worked with numerous projects, including The Common Practice and Red Eye Ruby. Caley studied trumpet performance at Minnesota State University, Moorhead and Minot State University before relocating to Minneapolis in 2013. He is well versed in all styles of music, from jazz to rock/pop to classical.
Liz began working with the members of Color Chord during their previous incarnation, The Common Practice. Classically trained, they add a dynamic and refined quality to the sound. A human of many talents, Liz is also an artist, actor, and bodyworker.
Ani Macy

Bass
Ani has been an active bass player in the Minnesota music scene for many years. Having performed with groups such as The Northern Medicine, Red Eye Ruby, and The Common Practice, she is currently gracing Color Chord with her immense talents. Ani provides an energetic force to the sound, creating bass textures that range from smooth and playful to driven and edgy. When she is not cooking up saucy basslines for Color Chord, she is feeding the souls of her residents with delicious cuisine.

Gage Schmitt is a musician and audio engineer from Des Moines, Iowa. His currently based in Minneapolis, MN where he works with musicians in so many ways! He studied music at the University of Northern Iowa, where he played with many large and small groups in classical, jazz, and more! He moved to Minneapolis, MN in August of 2020 and started audio engineering in the studio and live shows at your favorite local venues! Gage has worked with musicians such as Rachel Bearinger, Clayton Ryan, Dr. Ann Bradfield, The Good the Bad and the Funky, and many more! His favorite part of being involved with music is the collaboration with other musicians and sharing it with his community and more! You can find him performing with Color Chord, various jam sessions and open mics., collaborating with others in a studio, or running sound at your favorite venues!
Bryce has been heavily involved in Minnesota music for many years. His passion and creativity add a unique and special flavor to the sound and his playful demeanor makes working with him easy and fun. Bryce can also be seen performing with his other band, Confucisaurus, as well as providing engineering services as the owner and lead tech of his music company, Psychotropic Sounds.
